RAW VEGAN CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Looking for a decadent treat that is also good for you? Mmmm look no further, I GOT YOU! 😉 Check out these delicious RAW VEGAN GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES I’ve crafted.

Those who know me, know I have a big weakness for chocolate. I wanted to create something that satisfies my craving, but at the same time nourishes my body and doesn't leave me with a sugar hang over… and so this recipe was born.

The ingredients are simple, clean, and packed with fiber & nutrients. The highlight of these scrumptious treats: RAW CACAO. Cacao is loaded with antioxidants, magnesium, iron, and has been shown to improve mood. Oh baby!


Here’s the recipe (V, GF, Paleo)…


Ingredients (makes 8-12 brownies):

3/4 cup walnuts

1/2 cup almonds

12 pitted Medjool dates (soaked in water for 5-10 minutes)

8 tbsp raw cacao powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt


Instructions:

  1. Simply blend all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor. Add small amounts of water to facilitate blending.

  2. Once a cookie dough consistency is reached, scoop out into a shallow dish.

  3. Allow brownies to set in the refrigerator for 30 + minutes.

  4. Enjoy!
