Cow’s Milk is Meant for Cows
The purpose of cow’s milk is to grow a baby calf
Baby calves grow 300-500 lbs in one year- Human babies, of course, do not grow that fast
Compared to human milk, cow’s milk contains 4x as much protein
Between the ages 3-4, humans lose the enzymes to digest milk (lactase) ~ which is around the time we should be weaned from our Mother’s milk
Adults are not able to properly digest milk, which leads to congestive issues over time
Milk becomes irritating and mucus forming in the intestinal track
The Effect of Pasteurization
Pasteurization requires heating, which changes the chemistry of milk & its pH
Milk turns from alkaline forming to acid forming after the heating process
The result of heating milk destroys water soluble vitamins & binds proteins to minerals and minerals to minerals
If you feed a baby calf pasteurized milk instead of fresh raw milk from its mother, it dies!
Cause of Congestion + Mucus Forming
The consumption of dairy products is associated with colds, flu, mumps, and any lymphatic or respiratory condition
Dairy products are mucus producing and constipating
Calcium & Utilization
The highest concentration of USABLE calcium is found in sesame seeds + sea vegetables (i.e. kelp)
In order for calcium to be utilized, it needs magnesium
The concentration of calcium is much higher than magnesium in cow’s milk, which leads to a lot less calcium being utilized ~ it has been estimated that less than 20% is actually used by the body
