Homemade Peanut Butter Pumpkin Doggy Treats! 🐾🐶
If you know me, you know I treat my dog, Koa, like a king. He is family to me and has really been there through all life’s ups and downs. Koa was an abandoned stray found on the streets of Miami. He was badly beaten, abused, and thrown into a kill shelter because of his breed. When people look at Koa they automatically think he is some kind of aggressive monster, but those who know him know that he is the most loving pup there is.
This past Spring, Koa was accidentally hit by an oncoming train. Myself, my family, friends, and the staff at the Veterinary Hospital are not sure how he survived, but my precious miracle made it through. After losing half his teeth, multiple surgeries, and many hours of physical therapy, my boy is happier than ever.
I am so grateful everyday I get to spend with Koa. Nearly losing him taught me how unpredictable life is and how we really need to honor and cherish the blessings we have right now. With that, why not shower those we love with love! …And so here are a super delicious (& healthy) homemade treat for your four legged friend:
